The ULTIMATE SAILING CHALLENGE – SEAWIND 1600 vs the TRADE WINDS
We’re facing the final challenge of our voyage: a 500 nm sail upwind against the trade winds to the Marquesas, our sanctuary from cyclone season. With the wind on our nose, we embarked on a journey that tested our resolve, our sails, and our spirit. Endless sail changes, navigating through squalls and storms, then becalmed in a glassy ocean. It’s only through struggle comes triumph and Neptune rewarded us ten fold, only to humble us once again after a rookie mistake! Join us for the final rollercoaster ride to one of the most beautiful anchorages in the world.

Harbors Unknown is the story of two dreamers, Kristin and Fabio Potenti, and our French Bulldog Yoda. We sold our home at the beginning of the pandemic (May 27th, 2020) and moved aboard our Seawind 1600 catamaran, SV Wanderlust, in September.
