If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past few years of sailing around the world: There’s no perfect sailboat! The catamaran vs monohull debate is mostly hype and we’ve done our best to stay away from adding to the noise.

When we heard our friends from Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose are thinking of selling their monohull to purchase a catamaran, we invited them to come crew with us…and that led to talks of cruising life in a mono vs a cat.

We were talking about it anyway so why not film and share? In this video we’re discussing comfort and safety.
