We sailed to Rarotonga & our first few days are MAGIC. A traditional Vaka arrives from NZ along with a crazy crew. Toss in some sexy Polynesian dancing along with a dash of social drinking, a Boat Tour, the HAKA and it’s a trip we won’t forget.

After getting a sneak peek sailboat tour of the Cook Island Vaka, Nikki is hooked! Now she’s ready to crew on a traditional Polynesian catamaran. Celestial navigation, hand steering with a massive rudder, tiny kitchen cooking, pooping over the rails and 16 bunks in a hull…Nikki is definitely the more hardcore sailor between the two of us. Now she’s added it to the bucket list, so one day it’ll happen with or without me!
