In our last video we were discussing the best route to get to Panama and we (eventually) chose the Bahamas route. Almost everyone we spoke to promised calm waters and lots of comfortable downwind sailing. It’s not exactly the case but it’s still a great sail to our first overnight stop near Nassau.
We cross the Gulf Stream, snag a couple Mahi-Mahi and we barely use the engines. We’re now on Mother Nature’s schedule and so far she’s been kind.
I hope this part one of our Mission Panamania series gets you excited for the next leg…cause we’re stoked! See ya on the water.
