It’s impossible to share everything that was going through our minds over the last couple weeks in Tonga. But believe me when I say: We have been faced with the most difficult decisions of our lives and the stress compounds with each roadblock that tries to get in our way.
Without our new friends Kjell and Adriana this entire experience would have been 1000x worse. They own a small resort called Mystic Sands and they deal with this stress all the time. We were warned about Real Tonga Airlines being flaky, but we never could have guessed it would be this crazy. So, if you plan to fly into Tonga, and you can’t book on Fiji Airways, you better heed the advice of the locals: Buy Travel Insurance!
