9 Boat hatches wrecked? Watch this before you replace them!

Hey friends! This week we've set our sights skyward and we're seeing an awful lot of CRAZING, so we're taking care of it in typical FLOW fashion- as cheaply as possible! If you think you need new hatches, watch this first! We are going to completely refurbish our hatches for a fraction of replacement cost. This is the ultimate DIY project since it cost very little (compared to new), takes little skill (just some tedious labor), and makes such an amazing difference.
We also add safety netting all around the boat, and try out our spinnaker sock having only seen those on YouTube.

Sailing SV Flow - 2 people, 4 dogs, 0 experience We’re just a couple of middle-aged empty-nesters who are slightly prone to “Oooh-Shiny” Syndrome and sometimes lack the good sense to back down from a challenge. Granted, no one has ever accused us of leading boring lives; crazy, maybe, but not boring. We don’t do sweet, sane life-in-a-box. We do live in a near constant state of chaos, but chaos has become our friend and our mentor. Now we’ve really jumped off the deep end (pun definitely intended) and are taking on our biggest challenge yet- we are setting out on a circumnavigation of the globe in our 45' sailboat with our four dogs as unwitting accomplices. This new adventure promises to shape and mold our lives in ways we’ve only imagined. We invite you to follow along with us as we turn the page on this new chapter.
