7 Off-grid living on a boat takes a little doing.

I don’t know if you guys have noticed this, but Flow’s toosh has been looking a little NAKED! Today we are going to remedy that by boosting her backside with some sun power! It’s the day many of you have been waiting for, we ditch the shore power and GO SOLAR! And while we’re at it, we’re amping up the batteries and inverter too; after all, it’s not enough to wrangle the mighty power of the sun, we have to be able to corral it too…

Check out our new and improved OFF GRID system in this week’s episode! We get new-to-us solar panels, switch out our old lead acid batteries for some hot new LiFePo batteries, replace the inverter that lost its magic smoke, build the cables for our new electrical system- and install it all.
