36 No lithium on this boat, Happy New Year
Well guys, we took some time off and got off the boat for a little while. We got to see family, friends, and just needed some time to recharge, but we are back, and this week we are catching you up. We have sorted through some of our power issues, and we are not going to put lithium batteries on the boat. December also held some rough weather and we got to sit through that, although by now that is old hat for us.

Sailing SV Flow - 2 people, 4 dogs, 0 experience We’re just a couple of middle-aged empty-nesters who are slightly prone to “Oooh-Shiny” Syndrome and sometimes lack the good sense to back down from a challenge. Granted, no one has ever accused us of leading boring lives; crazy, maybe, but not boring. We don’t do sweet, sane life-in-a-box. We do live in a near constant state of chaos, but chaos has become our friend and our mentor. Now we’ve really jumped off the deep end (pun definitely intended) and are taking on our biggest challenge yet- we are setting out on a circumnavigation of the globe in our 45' sailboat with our four dogs as unwitting accomplices. This new adventure promises to shape and mold our lives in ways we’ve only imagined. We invite you to follow along with us as we turn the page on this new chapter. And don’t worry- while you are starting in the middle of our story, you, my friend, have the benefit of skipping right to the best chapter!
