We depart the beautiful island of Tarutao in Thailand and head to Malaysia. Pulau Langkawi has the reputation of being THE duty-free island for yachties to “check out any time they like, but never leave” but did you know the whole Langkawi archipelago is a UNESCO Global Geopark? We anchor beneath the jungle of the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, get the drone out, and hope you’ll agree that the footage will blow you away!

On the passage south Liz learns how to tie an icicle hitch for the snubber, and in Langkawi we hook up with Phil of Zoom Sails to get measured up for a Code Zero! That’s not going to happen for a while yet but since our Langkawi visit was brief we thought we’d slip a quickS meeting in before moving on.

Thanks to all our Patrons and Rum Funders for your continued support, it’s great to have you along for the ride. We loves ya!

Peace and fair winds,

Liz, Jamie and Millie

Between us and the River Trent is a 100-year-old railway swing bridge and a 224-year-old lock. If there is a mechanical failure at either of these venerable structures, we'll have to wait. If they both break down, we could end up being stuck between the tw...
