Lets build our own Generator AutoStart Circuit
December 14, 2024 by Emily & Clark's Adventure | Language: EN Play Time: 00:22:38 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

This week we are going to do a little lab project. As you know the only thing out there that knows when your Li battery bank is fully charged is your BankManager. Wouldn’t it be great if your generator could automatically start when your batteries are low and turn off exactly when your li bank is fully charged. This will no only be convenient but it saves the generator from running too long.
To build this you need to leverage the BankManager that is already installed in your system. If you don’t have a BankManager you can learn more about them here: https://marinedcac.com/pages/bankmanager
Any version of the BankManager will do for this project.
You will need two inexpensive components readily available on Amazon:
You need a low voltage disconnect circuit:https://amzn.to/4ggu45i
You will need a low current bistable contactor:https://amzn.to/49H4DaS
and you will also need a relay and some wire and fuses
