Doha Metro Green Line opens - Take the Metro to Mall of Qatar

Qatar Rail opened the Doha Metro Green Line to the public officially on Tuesday 10th of December 2019. Ultimate Freggle went on a ride with the metro from al Wakra station to Al Riffa, the Mall of Qatar. Check out what the Doha Metro Green line looks like and which stations are now available in Qatar!
The stations on the Doha Metro Green Line are:
– Mansoura
– Msheireb
– Al Bidda
– The White Palace
– Hamad Hospital
– Al Messila
– Al Rayyan Al Qadeem
– Al Shaqab
– Qatar National Library
– Education city
– Al Riffa / Mall of Qatar
The Doha Metro opening times are
Saturdays to Thursday 06:00 – 23:00
Friday 14:00 – 23:00
Doha Metro ticket prices
A single journey ticket costs 2 QR
A day pass costs 6 QR
A travel card costs 10 QR without any credit. Credit can then be topped up.
