Checking into a foreign country is always stressful, you never know what to expect when dealing with bureaucracy…. We make our way to the town of Mtwara and are very impressed by the friendly officials who make our check in a very pleasant experience. We loving Tanzania!
We buy fresh fruit and veg at the colourful local market and collect fresh drinking water from a spring that was built in 1913!
We anchor off Baobab island and walk among the amazing quintessential African trees…. Robin cooks up a delicious chicken potjie (three-legged pot) on the beach while local kids have fun watching us.
Our dingy goes floating away across the bay and Charlotte and Moya get very worried watching Robin swim after it!!
Thanks for watching!
Much love,
Captain Robin, Charlotte, sailor girl Moya and Midnight, our sailing cat!
We love hearing from you. If you have any questions on how we sail, please leave us a comment or send us a message!
