We set sail from the breathtaking Radama Islands, enjoying some smooth offshore sailing before passing Mahajanga, an area we call Dragon’s Breath! 🐉💨 As we sail the remote west coast of Madagascar, Moya takes on her first-ever night watches during our ocean passage south.
We anchor off Maintirano, where we stock up on some much-needed provisions before facing our worst anchorage yet—muddy seas, relentless rolling, and rough nights on the hook. This is real boat life, fill of adventure, challenges, beautiful landscapes, and the unpredictable beauty of Madagascar’s wild coast!
