DHOW SAILING // UNCOVERING the MYSTERY. Drifting Ep.65
I just had to share the most incredible experience we had recently. You won’t believe the adventure we had in Kilifi Creek, Kenya!
Our friend invited us on a dhow sailing trip in creek, and it was simply epic! We hopped on this traditional dhow, and the whole afternoon felt like a dream.
After an amazing sail, we couldn’t resist the temptation to untie Seascape and sail her round into the creek to anchor for a few days.
Robin, being the bird enthusiast that he is, decides to go in search of the Carmine Bee Eaters on Bird Island.
Meanwhile, my curiosity leads me to an unexpected find – an abandoned multi-million-dollar hotel nestled within the coastal wilderness. And I discover the mysteries of the ruins…colourful stories and all!
