Spectacular Sombori In Sensational Sulawesi - Series 5 Episode 125
Continuing our circumnavigation of Sulawesi, we sailed from Pulau Labengke hoping to find an anchorage in the Sambori area to spend a couple of nights. What we discovered were spectacular lagoons, vibrant coral reefs, powder sand beaches, stunning limestone caves and the surreal experience of swimming in a land locked lagoon inhabited by thousands of graceful jellyfish with no sting venom after centuries of evolution.
Blown away by nothing short of sheer awesomeness, we ended up staying ten days safely anchored in calm waters off the rustic Sombori Resort having one of our most amazing Indonesian experiences of all.
