We've run up against mother nature at her nastiest, a dangerously exploding volcano? Circumnavigating Sulawesi in Indonesia on our 42 foot sailboat, a lack of wind couldn’t stop us, uncharted coral reefs couldn’t stop us, being rammed by customs officials couldn’t stop us but flowing lava, falling ash and the threat of tsunamis from the erupting Mt Ruang volcano force a seismic change to our sailing plans.
