Cruising Life Sailing Southern Lombok - S4 Episode 103
We begin by checking out the much touted Marina Delray on the island of Gili Gede but sadly what we found didn’t really live up to expectations. However a trip to a great local market saw Our Dreamtime well stocked with beautiful fresh food and we were ready to set sail for more exploring amongst Southern Lombok’s incredible Secret Gilis where we are soon surrounded by beautiful local outriggers gliding effortlessly across smooth, turquoise waters with sails of every colour of the rainbow.
The anchor goes down just off a golden sand beach at Gili Sudak in time for an incredible Indonesian feast by the water before we join in the party on a tiny sand cay as a large group of local high school students celebrate their graduation. No wonder we love our cruising life.
