Like most YouTube Sailing Channels, our episodes are well behind real time as we record footage almost daily but only publish an edited video fortnightly. We don’t often post “Real Time” updates like this one but when Indonesia’s Mt Ruang volcano blasted into a series of powerful eruptions leading to a tsunami alert being issued, we began receiving a lot of messages from concerned followers not sure exactly where in Indonesia we were and if we may be in danger. We are in fact in Sulawesi and well within tsunami range but have taken appropriate action to minimise any risk, as we explain in this video. In the meantime, we are LOVING remote Sulawesi and give you a little update and taste of what’s to come in future episodes of our “Dreamtime in Indonesia” series.
