Aground on a Reef – Facing Our Worst Nightmare - S4 Episode 105

Living our worst nightmare, we ran Our Dreamtime up on a reef. Terrible weather conditions, poor light and a 500 metre error in the charts combine to lead us onto a reef on the island of Sumbawa. In this episode we detail the how and why of what happened, the mistakes we made and the aftermath.
But first we leave Medana Bay Marina and sail east to the island of Pulau Lawang for an “interesting” night at anchor before a ripping sail across the strait to beautiful Pulau Kramat off Sumbawa. Then things began to go wrong.
However, in the video, we do get to visit the wonderful Bajau village of Bangai though, which proved to be the real positive experience of this trip.
