We were supposed to be sailing out of Cape Town on May 20th, but the US Coast Guard has not issued us a registration number so we are unable to check out of South Africa. By the time things are sorted out, we will probably be 10 days behind schedule.
The only silver lining is it has given me and the crew plenty of time to be a tourist and check out many of the things Cape Town and the surrounding area has to offer.
I have also done a factory tour of where Maverick 440 catamaran and the Xquisite X5 are made. Those episodes will be coming out shortly.
