May 01, 2019 by Cruising Off Duty | Language: EN Play Time: 00:24:45 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

This episode of Cruising Off Duty, I am going to explain the plans for the upcoming sailing voyage from South Africa to the USA. This will be a 10,000-mile transatlantic crossing on a 50′ Xquisite X5 Catamaran. The journey will take us across the South Atlantic, the equator and then into the North Atlantic, before going through the Caribbean Islands and making it to the East coast of the USA. It should take about 8 weeks to complete with stops along the way.
To find out more and to be able to follow along by tracking the progress in real time, through the Cruising Off Duty App, go to

I will be flying out May 16th and should be setting sail from Cape Town on May 20th.
It should be an Epic voyage. I will be filming the entire time so there should be plenty of episodes showing what we went through on the Cruising Off Duty Youtube Page, once I get back.
Wish me fair winds. Ciao for now.
