Ep81. In this episode of Cruising Off Duty, we head to Kingston and film the 1000 Islands Poker Run. There are over 50 expensive and super fast boats involved in this event, including at least one that is propelled by 2 jet engines. They leave from Kingston and they head to Brockville, Prescott Gananoque and then back to Kingston. At each stop they are given a playing card and at the end, the boat with the best poker hand wins. So even though the fastest boat is not necessarily any more likely to win, the people who enter this even only have one thing they want to show off. Just how big, bad, and fast their boat is! It is a lot of fun to watch and I get my Mavic Pro drone up to show the start of the race when they all leave. It was fun. But I am certainly glad I do not have to pay the Gas bill on these boats after a weekend of racing around. Yikes!
