How much does Youtube pay? Can't you live on that and sail and travel the world now? Reality!

The #1 question we get is why we seem to be waiting 4-5 years to sell everything and sail the world. Why don’t you just go now? You have a Youtube Channel, don’t you get paid for the views? Can’t you live on that while you travel the world? Believe me, we live on the belief that LIFE IS TOO SHORT and you should never put off getting experiences that will create lasting memories but there is a hard Reality that needs to be explained to those unaware of the Youtube financial reality. In this episode, we will explain the reality of what you can expect to make on Youtube.

Sure, you can afford to live on Youtube views alone if you are young and hot and are always walking around in Bikinis and get 100s of thousands of views per episode. Most Youtube viewers are men and that is especially true in the sailing niche. A thumbnail of a young hot girl in a Bikini gets huge views. And if you are young and hot you also will have the ability to get 1000s of people to sponsor you on Patreon. So, it is quite possible that you can live full time travelling the world if you have the right look and a bubbly personality. You don’t really even have to be a good videographer. We all know the channels I am talking about and more power to them for getting that level of attention.

But, for those of us that are not young and hot it would be a real hard road to ever expect that Youtube could support you while you travel the world. Sailing channels are a niche segment and therefore most channels are lucky to even get to 20,000 views per episode. Can you live on 20,000 views? We will show you the numbers.

That is why we will be waiting until we retire and can have a Pension to depend on. Youtube will be there is so that we can share the memories of the places we have been if it gets us some Beer Money or allow us to go on an excursion that perhaps was slightly out of our budget, then that is just icing on the cake.
