Ep66. In this episode of Cruising Off Duty, we do the best we can to make some quick fixes to the boat so we can use it this summer. No boat yards are available to work on our boat for months so temporary fixes are going to have to do for now.
We get out for our first sail on the St Lawrence and explored Wolfe Island, Cedar Island and the Kingston Waterfront. It was a beautiful sunny day (which has been very rare lately) so it made for some great footage.
We finish off the episode showing how, owning a sailboat has many more benefits than just allowing you to explore the beautiful waterways, but also has the extra benefit of greatly enriching your circle of friends. Sailors, and especially cruising sailors, are the most friendly people in the world and before long you have close life long friends. We invite our good sailing friends Dan and Theresa on our boat to have a birthday celebration dinner for Theresa. You have seen “Captain” Dan and Theresa before when we were together on our BVI Catamaran Charter series.
Hopefully you enjoy the episode. If so give it a thumbs up on Youtube. Subscribe so you don’t miss any of the upcoming episodes where we will continue exploring the Thousand Islands and Lake Ontario.

We crossed the 10,000 subscriber mark and to celebrate we are doing a live Q&A episode along with a draw for $100 in Freewell gear, on Wednesday June 7th at 7pm. Tube in and if you have extra questions you want covered, that will be the time to ask us.
Hope to see you then,
Craig and Janice.
