Ep23. Mavic Pro. First Day Impressions. Its going to change everything.
November 18, 2016 by Cruising Off Duty | Language: EN Play Time: 00:17:38 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

I finally got my new drone. The Mavic Pro. This episode is about my first flights and my first impressions. My first flight ever was in my house, where I crashed it. My first flight outside was where I met a friend who has the Phantom 3 and we compared the Mavic Pro to it as well as my existing drone, the Yuneec Q500 4K.
I found out that the Mavic is crazy fast and responsive. I had it doing a constant 45 mph in sport mode. The range from the controller is unbelievable. On the banks of the Ottawa River I was able to fly out over the water more than 15,000 feet and did a round trip of over 33,000 feet and I still had 4 1/2 minutes of flight time left, but that footage will be coming in the next episode.
This drone impressed the hell out of me and since it is so small, I will be able to bring it with me whenever I travel or whenever I am doing an outdoor activity where there is even the slightest possibility that I may have a reason to capture a moment from the air.
This drone is going to change everything for me and my Cruising Off Duty Channel. It is certainly an evolution in drone technology.
