Cruises. Most Economical & Fun way to explore multiple Caribbean Islands in one vacation? YES!

Ep123. In this episode of Cruising Off Duty we continue our series where we use a Cruise Ship to get around the Caribbean to do excursions at each Island we visited. We did scuba diving at 3 different islands. Grand Cayman, Roatan and Belize. This episode we stop in Cozumel, Mexico. The Cruise ship notified us after we had already left the Miami port that the Scuba excursion her in Cozumel was cancelled. There was no other Scuba excursion offered as an alternative, so we decided, instead of doing nothing, to take a dune buggy and snorkel excursion. Still fun, but not as good as Scuba would have been. It made us switch our belief about always booking our excursions through the cruise ship. Other scuba divers on our boat told us they booked private dives prior to getting on the cruise ship and often you can do a better dive location for cheaper than through the cruise ship.

Hopefully you enjoy this episode. If so, give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of the future episodes. If you have any questions you can leave them in the comments under the video or for an even more detailed Q&A you can reach us at CruisingOffDuty@gmail.com

Thanks for watching,
Craig and Janice

PS – Somehow my small camera bag with my usual main camera, Panasonic GH5, and my usual Vlog Camera, Canon G7Xii, were accidentally left in the trunk of the car and didn’t make the trip to the Cruise Ship. In my backpack I did have my GoPro 5 and my Mavic Pro Drone. I ended up shooting most of the episodes using my iPhone X. It actually did a pretty good job, except for in this episode where Janice was trying to film in a windy and bouncy Dune Buggy. Needless to say the footage was a bit Jittery.
