Would You Jump in 13,000 ft of Water 100 miles Offshore? (Calico Skies Sailing Ep.106)

We need a break in the trade winds to make easterly progress from Mexico to Panama. On the second day or our passage we find ourselves in pond like conditions about a hundred miles offshore. The crew decides this would be a good time to jump into the 13,000 feet of the most magnificently blue water…Would you do it?!

Besides the swim break this video takes you along on a thousand miles passage getting our new crew acclimated to life at sea. Grace provides updates on her time in Panama, blown away by how fast airplane travel is 😂.

We motor sail a couple days until we face a decision whether to attempt a diversion to Cayman for fuel or risk it and continue with the fuel onboard..
