After being away from Wilda for nearly two years, due to covid pandemic, we are back in Australia to continue her refit!
Not long ago, we took down the catamaran cockpit roof, as the previous owner had a different vision for the boat roof. We didn’t like it, so we took the roof down, we made some changes to it, reinforced it with fiberglass, sanded and faired it. In this episode of Building Wilda, we finish the fairing and we are taking the cockpit roof back up, with the help of Christoffer, our friend! The roof is not yet finished, there is more work to be done. So, please stick around if you’d like to watch our roof transformation!


Wilda is a Schionning Wilderness 1340 sailing catamaran. She is being finished in a shed outside Melbourne. Wilda will be powered by the Sun, the Wind and the Sea...
