In this episode Axel starts painting the floors on the interior of Wilda. We need to apply a primer to ensure good adherence of the paint and even though we will have some kind of flooring, we need to make sure the edges all-around look decent. After that, Axel has to make a few small adjustments to the radius of the cockpit door. We contacted Alfab manufacturer in Australia and trying to discuss getting a door from them. However, the radius of their door frame doesn’t match the radius that we have in the bulkhead, so working on that. Since we’re talking a bit about the reinforcement of the door cutout, t’s a good opportunity to take a look back at what Wilda looked like a few years ago! Quite a massive change!
Wilda is a Schionning Wilderness 1340 sailing catamaran. She is being finished in a shed outside Melbourne. Wilda will be powered by the Sun, the Wind and the Sea…
