We check out a Liveaboard Hatteras 53 | Boating Journey

In episode 117, Scott surprised me and flew us down to Fort Lauderdale to check out a 1980 Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht. We explored the Fort Lauderdale canals, restaurants and marinas. This is a great project boat and definitely would make a great liveaboard. Be sure to watch and find out what we decide to do!

Thanks for following our Boating Journey. We sold our home, our business and our first boat so we could move onto a liveaboard boat. We sold our 2002 Bayliner 4087 Aft Cabin MY that we moored at Elliott Bay Marina in July 2020 during the pandemic. In 2022, we moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to be closer to boating opportunities. Our goal is to find a liveaboard slip within the next year and also share with our viewers different ways to can spend time on the water if you don't own a boat. We travel to the Caribbean every year and for 2022, we have chartered a bare boat catamaran and we're headed to the BVIs. Stay tuned!
