Portugal Travel Vlog: Exploring Lisbon’s Gardens, Food & Lumen Hotel Lightshow | Boating Journey
In this week’s episode, we say goodbye to beautiful Porto and make our way back to Lisbon for our final day in Portugal. We stayed at the modern Lumen Hotel, conveniently located near the airport and famous for its nightly lightshow that transforms the courtyard into a dazzling display of color.
During the day, we explored a few last sights in Lisbon, including the city’s largest garden, Eduardo VII Garden overlooking the Tagus River—a peaceful escape with stunning views. To wrap up our trip, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Butcher’s, another fantastic Lisbon steakhouse that did not disappoint!

Thanks for following our Boating Journey. We sold our home, our business and our first boat so we could move onto a liveaboard boat. We sold our 2002 Bayliner 4087 Aft Cabin MY that we moored at Elliott Bay Marina in July 2020 during the pandemic. In 2022, we moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to be closer to boating opportunities. Our goal is to find a liveaboard slip within the next year and also share with our viewers different ways to can spend time on the water if you don't own a boat. We travel to the Caribbean every year and for 2022, we have chartered a bare boat catamaran and we're headed to the BVIs. Stay tuned!
