New Orleans is a city unlike any other, and over the next two days we dive into the culture, history, and nightlife that make the Big Easy so unforgettable. After sharing Episode 1 at the JW Marriott New Orleans, this episode continues our journey through one of America’s most vibrant cities.

In episode, 307 We start with a river cruise on the Mississippi River, taking in iconic views and learning about the river’s role in shaping New Orleans. From there, we visit the Waldorf Astoria New Orleans to experience their stunning holiday light display before heading into the heart of the city.

Our New Orleans experience wouldn’t be complete without incredible food and entertainment. We enjoy a classic dinner at Red Fish Grill, and then things get spooky with a New Orleans ghost tour. We also explore the famous French Market, a must-see for visitors looking to experience authentic New Orleans culture. Our next visit was to the Voodoo Museum, where the city’s rich and mysterious history comes to life.

Boating Journey

Thanks for following our Boating Journey. We sold our home, our business and our first boat so we could move onto a liveaboard boat. We sold our 2002 Bayliner 4087 Aft Cabin MY that we moored at Elliott Bay Marina in July 2020 during the pandemic. In 2022, we moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to be closer to boating opportunities. Our goal is to find a liveaboard slip within the next year and also share with our viewers different ways to can spend time on the water if you don't own a boat. We travel to the Caribbean every year and for 2022, we have chartered a bare boat catamaran and we're headed to the BVIs. Stay tuned!
