ON THE MARKET! The Perfect All-Purpose Sailboat! Quite possibly for a 38-foot sailboat, the Morgan 384, in this price range, might be the most satisfying sailboat you can buy. FULL TRANSPARENCY: we are 100% biased regarding these Morgans, but they are wonderful boats. And we fully expect folks to disagree with us and suggest even better boats. We're simply saying, at this price point, there's a lot to like about this boat. With the higher aspect-ratio rig, larger rudder, and other updates relative to her older sister, the 382, this 384 can cruise oceans, put you on the podium racing, or simply take you for a comfortable day sail. With room to sleep 7, plenty of ventilation, and a full inventory of sails and accessories, this sailboat is ready to go. The BEST part, she has a brand new Beta Marine diesel engine with only 50 hrs on it. The list goes on and on. And while we might be a bit biased, since we own a Morgan 382, this newer 1986 model had us second-guessing our life decisions. Her original gel coat is off the charts pristine, and her decks are perfect (of course, you'll want a proper survey). And we can tell you, if you're looking for a versatile, comfortable ride, this boat is for you. These 38s (382, 383, 384) are easy and fun to sail, and are top-notch in terms of comfort while on the highs seas, a mooring, or at anchor. So, come along and check it out as Canadian Ken and I see what could have been had we been patient and waited 3 years for this beauty to come on the market.
