RARE Allied Seawind II Sloop — Spotless, Proven, $23K OBRO!

We found a RARE sloop-rigged 1976 Allied Seawind II that’s so clean, it might just be in better shape than when she left the factory. Seriously—original gelcoat topsides, full keel, aperture-housed prop, and a spotless interior? This boat is the real deal. The original Allied Seawind is credited as the first fiberglass sailboat to circumnavigate the globe. Pretty impressive! This version is a foot longer and a foot wider - essentially more substantial all the way around. In short, she could go anywhere.
While Canadian Ken had to sit this one out (family came to town... priorities), I take you aboard solo to explore one of the best-conditioned Seawind IIs we’ve seen - in fact, it's the only one we've ever seen! And if you know this Thomas Gillmer-designed classic, you know that’s saying something.
This particular boat is:
One of only a handful of sloops (most were ketch or cutter rigged)
Powered by a Westerbeke diesel with less than 800 hours
Equipped with Quantum sails (including an asym in a sock!)
Has a black water holding tank + macerator
Carries 60 gallons of water and 40 gallons of diesel
She’s in near-mint condition, priced at $23,000 OBRO, and yes, that includes a dinghy and 2.5hp outboard if you go full price. The seller needs to sell, and someone is going to get a terrific boat.
