What happens when someone spends six years searching for the right sailboat?

Meet Sophia.

For the past six years, she's been working with our good friend Captain Kew or Q (who unfortunately couldn't make this episode) in search of a sailboat that truly felt right. The search has taken patience, countless conversations, and plenty of near misses.

...a beautifully maintained 1971 Luders 33.

This isn't just another classic sailboat. She's an exceptional example of one of America's most respected yacht designs, lovingly cared for, professionally maintained by Lyman-Morse in Camden, Maine, and stored indoors for much of her life.

Even better, she combines timeless good looks with modern reliability thanks to a 2015 Yanmar diesel repower with approximately 500 hours, giving her the confidence of a newer cruising boat while preserving the classic sailing characteristics that made the Luders 33 famous.
