Check out these sailboats for sale in SoCal for under $40k and you could be out pursuing your sailing dreams before you know. Don't listen to all of the BS about spending a fortune in order to enjoy sailing. My buddy, Cape Dory Carlton, spent $9k on his awesome Cape Dory 7 years ago and, in addition to annual upkeep, has only purchased a new dodger over that time - and he sails more than anyone I know (anyone with a job, that is - which means most of us..). Sellers are getting anxious. Deals are in the offing! And if you live in SoCal, one of these boats might be ideal for you. Any one of these sailboats would be perfect for day sailing, some weekend overnights, and some could even take you just about anywhere you'd want to go. All of these boats are very cool! And I'm in love with #1.
