Welcome to our new series BoatFools Sailing Presents...SECONDHAND SAILORS: Six Boats, One Winner! - we think it's a lot of fun! In SECONDHAND SAILORS, Josh and I (and in the future, Canadian Ken) pick a state and a budget (in this case $50k), separately pick our three favorite used sailboats, then bring them to the table for the big reveal. We then score the sailboats and choose an overall winner. It's similar to our BoatFools Top 10 Sailboats series but this is MORE fun because Josh and I have different tastes so you'll get to see boats I wouldn't typically look at. Additionally Josh brings his 45 years of sailing experience to the table. Between us, that's 90+ years of boating experience. That's a lot. BUT, we don't know everything - that is for sure. We are "everyman" sailors - in other words, limited budgets, learning as we go, imparting wisdom where we can, absorbing wisdom from wherever we can. We love sailing and we love boats. That's why we do this. We'd love to hear your feedback and get ideas as to which states we should hit next!
