Having put the start of our circumnavigation on hold last year, we are now leaving towards the end of this year. Follow our journey as we prepare ourselves and the boat.

The crew. Amandine from France, Lousia from Greece and John from the UK

The boat is small at 33 feet (10M) but tough, with several Atlantic crossings under her belt. And as you’ll see in upcoming episodes well equipped for the long haul.

The journey. Atlantic, Pacific, South Chia sea,. Indian Ocean and back into the Atlantic

We will be seeking out places that aren’t on the regular cruiser routes, and taking you along with us. Lousia finished a degree course in film and tv last year and she will be vlogging the journey. Amandine has a science background and is recently back from leading an expedition across Costa Rica. John is the cabin boy, and there will be others joining us for various legs of the journey.

Big Ocean Small Boat
13,000 kilometers under our keel already, with our 3/4 tonner Nicholson that was built in the UK 45 years ago as a race boat. With several Atlantic crossings under her belt we're now going for the big one. A circumnavigation. Partnered with OceanOps, an association supported by UNESCO, we'll be providing ocean data as we make our way around the world. This data is used by a host of operations,, some of which keep the flow of freight across our oceans moving seamlessly. Most of us at some point use items that have travelled by sea, food, household items, cars and raw materials all cross oceans by sea. Also this data is used to monitor changes in our climate.
