What FLOATS Your Boat: Re-Foaming the Keel (S2 E68 Barefoot Sail and Dive)

In this episode of Barefoot Sail and Dive we re foam the keel! The foam wasn’t quite as exciting as we thought it was going to be but we still had fun putting it in. We used a high density foam and it looks fantastic. Yet another step in the right direction!
The keels do in fact help FLOAT our boat. This amount of foam in the keel creates over 1000 pounds of displacement!

We also use of favourite tool the GelPeel Pro or Gelcoat peeler to assist some friends with their osmosis problem!

When faced with a challenge look for a way, not a way out!
