Sea-trial on Our Hurricane Damaged Cat (S2 E6)
This week we get everything ready to take our home on her first sea-trial!
This is something we’ve been waiting for, for a long time as we had to wait for the big super yacht beside us to move in order for us to get out of our slip. Once Nirvana was out of the way we were able to slide over. We figured out we had a minor issue straight away! Everything went decently well on the sea trial and we learned something new about our rudder! It was a very positive experience and we love seeing her out on the water! Our hurricane damaged home is finally in a slip we can escape from!

Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards!
