Repairing a Keel Joint and a Fun Day at the Beach! (S2 E23 Barefoot Sail and Dive)
In this weeks episode of Barefoot Sail and Dive …. Davy helps our good friend Matt repair his keel joint on his Catalina 350. We met Matt out in the quarantine anchorage when we first arrived in Luperon back in June. They arrived two days after us. We spent 3 weeks waving at each other while we waited to be let into the country.
The keel job is not a huge one but it was an important job to fix before Matt can get his boat sanded and painted in the yard.
We also wanted to show you a little bit more about Foxy our foster fail! She loves playing around the marina with her other puppy friends. There are so many boats here with dogs so every so often we take them over to dog s*** beach for a play!
She loves the beach but will not go in the water yet! Next step with Foxy will be to get her pet passport sorted out, all tests and vaccines done so she can travel the world with us!

Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards!
