Installing our new 3000 watt Inverter - COOKING ELECTRIC on a boat (S4 E5 Barefoot Travels)
In this weekly vlog of Barefoot Travels we talk about cooking ELECTRIC on a boat! We have been using our Bluetti Lithium power bank up until this point for all cooking and charging of small electrics … UNTIL it died. We are now installing a new inverter so we can cook electric from our main battery bank.
Cooking electric definitely has it’s upsides but when the sun is hidden by clouds it is definitely more of a struggle.

Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards!
