In this episode of Barefoot Sail and Dive we get back to work on the hardtop!
The first step is to figure out how high we want the hard top to be. By building a wooden frame we will be able to test out different heights before its finalized with stainless steel or aluminium.
It is incredibly hot here in the DR so we decided to pull out this reserve parachute we’ve been carrying around to help create a sun shade!
Tropical Storm Laura also threatened to hit us we we prepared everything we could on the boat and hoped for the best!

From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards!
