After what I think was six days of sleeping sideways on the beach preparing the boat by removing all of the sand and water and trying to seal the hull to deck seam semi Successfully plus arranging a little equipment and people for the big day we made it about 15 feet into the water off of the beach. For the last just under 48 hours we have been slowly kedging our way back into deeper water. We have gone from 3 feet to about 5 1/2 feet but still have another foot to go. It is low tide right now but by high tide this evening we should be home free! Thank you all for following along and I will be putting together a real episode in the near future about this process with some nice illustrations on our strategy to show you how are you too could one day save your boat if you end up in this situation. This vessel is 55 feet and over 30,000 lbs! so if we can do it with this you can do it with anything! Always remember never give up on your dreams. Anything is possible! Extra special thanks to the donators. You really helped us with purchasing the 600 feet of line and a few other odds and ends a bit larger than we would have been able to purchase on our own savings! If you have any interest in adding to the donations there is a PayPal link on my other videos or you can look up SV another adventure on Patreon. Also look us up on Facebook to follow along with a few updates. I am not the best at social media as this is a side hobby for me but I do post on there randomly sometimes...
