THIS EPISODE
We take you back to January 2021, when we purchased this dumpy Airstream trailer with a vision to turn it into our dreamy mobile home:
► in JUST 60 DAYS,
► with very limited carpentry experience,
► on a small budget,
► while squatting on our friend’s property,
► without a workshop.. in Canada during.. WINTER,
► while working full-time in healthcare amidst a PANDEMIC,
► whilst attempting to film the entire process!
THIS is where it all began. It was our first time picking up our camera & learning how to talk to it (still very weird).
Riveting, plumbing, electrical, propane systems, building cabinetry.. the list goes on. We learned how to do it ALL. AND it was dirty, disgusting, frustrating and very challenging.

In this first episode we take you on a tour of this 26ft. vintage AIRSTREAM Overlander (circa 1968) the day after we bought it (for $8000 on Kijiji). We talk through the plans for the build AND jump right into the DEMOLITION process!

WHO WE ARE
We are a couple from opposite sides of the world living together in a teeny-tiny 160 square feet.
Our current tiny home is a vintage Airstream trailer nestled in the woods here in the Canadian Pacific Northwest.
Sounds dreamy right? Well let us tell you that it isn’t as easy as it looks & the process of building our dream tiny home on wheels (in just 60 days) was freaking hard!!!

When we’re not enduring these self-imposed suffer-fests (i.e. our DIY projects & long grueling hikes up mountainsides) you’ll find us out on the ocean, living and sailing around the PNW on our little sailboat. She’s a Catalina 30 and we’ve been enjoying the challenge of restoring her & teaching ourselves how to sail!
OUR STORY
I (Allison, the Newfie) met James (the Aussie) while working on a remote island 3 years ago.
A decade working in healthcare has helped us both to appreciate the preciousness of this one beautiful life we’ve been given.
Viewing TIME as our most valuable gift, we’ve been feeling an urgency in our lives to Live All Out!
We decided to make some BOLD moves, hit PAUSE on our conventional careers & work full time, turning our DREAMS into reality.
This is the beginning of our YouTube journey & over the next few weeks we will be sharing our first steps towards making full-time adventure possible.
We’ll be posting weekly videos that document our DIY projects, tiny-home living & our land & sea adventures.
