A few days turns into a week of boatyard projects. Kayleen and her dad tackle the drive train and bottom while Tyler works on buffing and raising the waterline.
We find a crack along the keel (as well as some blisters), that we choose to ignore for now. Nothing like a fresh coat of paint to cover them up! But in all seriousness, we did get some professional opinions and it was recommended we leave our keel as is for now.
Footloose is a 1981 Tartan 42′.
