Reef Safe Sunscreen Showdown

Reef Safe Sunscreen Showdown

Reef Safe Sunscreen Showdown

Not clickbait… Nicole and Kahaia get wet and wild testing different brands of sunscreen that are safe for coral reefs. We plant some coral with the Coral Gardeners, an incredible conservation group based out of Moorea (Tahiti) and we dive deep into the Pacific Ocean with Under the Pole, a research team (and fellow sailors) pushing the limits of research SCUBA diving.
It was brought to my (Nicole) attention that Sun Bum is not reef safe even though on their website they claim to be. Although it was fun to use Sun Bum in this episode, it is NOT reef safe.
