Action packed episode. Dolphins come alongside and wish me well as I leave Falmouth heading for France. After a terrible night on the tale end of a gale around Ushant, I nearly get hit by another boat entering Lorient. My old buddy Northern Rom turns up and explains the historical, or should that be ‘hysterical’ use of ‘Sausage boats while we explore the old Uboat base in Lorient. We also checkout the best bar in the World.
Please note that the commentary regarding the Second World war is in the interest of historical events and in no way represents any political opinion whatsoever. The skit on ‘Sausage boats is not meant to make light or disrespect past historical events.
