Full SAILBOAT TOUR [$68,000 Cozy Catamaran 33.5', Solo Sailed, Can Anchor ANYWHERE!!!]

Welcome to this full tour of the catamaran sailing vessel Windward Express, a 1997 Gemini 105mc. This small yet capable cruising catamaran is only 35.5 ft long but has a surprisingly spacious interior. Despite its size, it offers ample sleeping and storage space, making it well-suited for island-hopping, cruising, and enjoying the liveaboard lifestyle in Paradise.

The unique aspect of this catamaran is its three-draft system. With a 5.5ft deep draft when sailing with its centerboards down, it can reduce to a 3ft draft for motoring only or sailing downwind and even go as low as 18in with the rudder folded up while still allowing partial steering.

The Windward Express has enough freshwater capacity (60 gallons) and diesel fuel to power its Westerbeke inboard outboard engine, which produces a sturdy 27 crank horsepower. This combination of features allows the vessel to be both capable on the water and exceptionally easy to maneuver in shallow areas.

Key Features of the Windward Express

  • Sleek design for easy maneuverability in shallow waters
  • Durable construction for offshore sailing
  • Comfortable and spacious living quarters with excellent storage options
  • Fuel-efficient, reliable engine for extended cruising distances

The Journey of the Windward Express

Learn about how this unique catamaran made its way across different parts of the Caribbean, from the Exuma Islands to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. See firsthand how its shallow draft allows it to anchor virtually anywhere, making it ideal for remote island escapes.
