We had a really great weekend out on the Juan de Fuca straight here in British Columbia! We took a winter camping and winter surfing trip!

Good weather makes a big difference, because we have to do most of our cooking cleaning outside, or with the doors open.

We thought we were finally getting the van back…until we got that phone call in Subway saying it was still broken down!

Our van broke down 7000 km away from home in what felt like the middle of nowhere. We almost made it to Nova Scotia but broke down on the side of the highway.

This was pretty cool... We drove our van across the ocean floor at low tide to explore an Island, cut off from land at high tide!

Once again, Quebec City proved to be a difficult place to stay in so we set up camp in a Walmart parking lot - our new favourite last minute campsite.

We continue to make our way East through the colourful maple forests of Ontario. We have loved exploring the stunning landscapes of this area in Canada.

One of the main questions we get asked about living on a sailboat is "do you work?"
